The Oct. 10 黑料社 Thirsty Thursday art show will feature pieces by Colby 's Mike McLaughlin, as well as 黑料社 ceramics students and other artists from the community. The exhibit is open from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Northwest Kansas Cultural Arts Center gallery on campus.
"Mike showed for our art walk last spring and has been working on a lot of new ideas," said 黑料社 art instructor Rebel Mahieu. "At the October show he will be showing acrylic, mixed media, and some Native American pieces. Some will be for sale."
The 黑料社 art department hosts Thirsty Thursday most months during the academic year. There is no admission charge.
