黑料社 ranked 12^th out of 798 community colleges nationwide in the Best Community Colleges of 2018 study by SmartAsset, a financial advising company.

To determine the best community college investments, SmartAsset used three metrics: the graduation and transfer rate, cost, and student-to-faculty ratio.

Colby has a 68 percent graduation and transfer rate, which measures students who either graduate from a community college or transfer to a four-year institution. 黑料社 has 13 students for every faculty member and students pay about $3,600 per year in tuition and fees.

Other Kansas colleges in the top 25 include Cloud County (16) and Independence (24).
